Re: To the wanna be "do I have it?" models
this is my favorite topic because this is bascially what killed Hip Hop. People get into entertainment: modeling, music, fashion, etc. and believe that they can become famous and a millionaire without have to put in a dime or any sweat equity.
I hear shyt like "Money my Motivation", "Money On Mind", etc. but Money is not a goal it is a result!!! The Result of Hard Work and wanting to be the best at what you do. I have seen dudes join a model board, they socialized with several models and particpated in convos, 6 month later they are "Model Agent Extrodinaire" when 6 months ago they said that they were working a 9 - 5 and trying to get in the entertainment business. That shyt is funny to me.
Urban Entertainment is going through "Destroy and Rebuild" phase. All these so called models, agents, rappers, etc. are being flushed out. The business is going to get worse, I anticipate where people don't give shyt about none of that anymore. Then slowly real talent will start to emerge and inspire again like it use to be. every thing comes full circle. We are just at the end of the beginning.
