"Leave the Bible out of it"

“The Bible says abortion is wrong”
This is normally uttered during election time
The same is said about homosexuality
People bring the Bible in matters
To condemn the practices they think are slime

But doesn’t the Bible condemn fornication
Why don’t you use the book to denounce that practice
You don’t because you enjoy the pleasure
Of having more than one person on your mattress

If all of the Bible is not going to be used
Then leave the book out of your biased discussion
People will attend religious services if they want to hear it
They don’t need you to tell them about moral repercussions

Cults are normally derived from using only one part of the Bible
Their leaders normally claim that they received a vision
Which results in persons being misled by their charisma
Such ones become victims of psychological prisons

I’m not going to call out any names
Use your Third Eye to recognize frauds for yourselves
Nobody can make you see what you don’t want to see
Your free will belongs to you and you only

But quit quoting what the Bible says
If you don’t want to use all of it
Doing so is selfish
Especially if you know good and well
That your life is not in harmony with what it teaches
