Im still tryin to figure it out....
whats in a title?
i hold many titles in my life...
"girlfriend" , "friend" , "sister", "daughter" etc.
we all do... but as i sit here i cant help but wonder what that means to the outside world vs what my job actually is..
i feel like my titles as daughter and sister are often mistaken for "mother". when things dont go the way they are supposed to for my mom i have to hear about it... the kids dont act right, she ships them off to me... i didnt birth nor father these people... so i dont really understand why i often am stuck doin my mothers "title"
my bf tells me about how im his girl... he tells everybody etc. but i dont feel like a girlfriend. i cant explain it... i do much more than that... my title doesnt come close to what i actually do.
i have come to the decision that i would like a special title for all it is that i do for any and everyone
i think that all are entitled to a proper title if they do the just work... it solidifies who we are... since most titles are just that= a definition of what we are.

I hear you with the daughter/mother thing. My sister actually called me mum up to the age of 3. Not a good look when I was in school uniform. lol
