DO I Have It Etiquette...
TheLaurynDoll TheLaurynDoll is offline 08-13-2006 Rating:

- What is the most appropriate and respectable way to tell a model she does not have it? To be blunt, and drive home a point, or subtle?

- Should we set a required age minimum to post whether or not someone has it? This is a friendly board, but most of the models are more on the sexy side, and I don't think a 15 year old (in MY opinion) should seek out an adult's approval online!

It's hard to tell the truth without someone getting offended, or at worst, having everyone jump on the bandwagon to attack or destroy the person and at times, their sense of self.

I would like to come up with basic etiquette for this part, because I'm seeing too much dumping on the girls we feel "don't have it".

Discuss.

Re: DO I Have It Etiquette...

as far as the age limit, I think almost any age is fine but they should be required to state what thier age is so we don't have 20 something yr. olds trying to holla at or diss a 16 yr old

Re: DO I Have It Etiquette...

I agree with everyone, but i also think instead of calling someone an ugly biatch, or who hit her with the ugly stick and nit pick at how her toes look, 1 little scar, 1 blemish etc you can simply give her advice on how to better herself, tell her what she needs to improve on and so forth, because not because "SOME" folks may not find her model material or even attractive, doesn't mean others wont, its really not up to us to tell someone what she can or cant do in life, i think the best thing is to point out what she needs to improve on and hopefully the model with take heed.

I have only one thing to say about this model, and yes, I will keep it real. To all of you haters out there, this is "THE NEXT TOP MODEL" sister you are beautiful.

Re: DO I Have It Etiquette...

Well honesty is the best policy. However, there's a way it could be said without hurting or degrading someone. As far as the younger females postings, I agree and I do feel there should be some sort of guideline set for these individual. My question is how would you police that here on this board. This board is unique and for the most part very professional. Generally when I see someone who's really young I wonder what that person is thinking and why is she seeking the opinion of an adult.

Good question!

Re: DO I Have It Etiquette...

I understand what the ladies are saying and totally agree. People on here can be EXTREMELY HARSH in their critique of some of the models. However, unless the moderaters set up guidelines that includes them laying down the law on people who go too far, it will continue.
