DO I Have It Etiquette...

- What is the most appropriate and respectable way to tell a model she does not have it? To be blunt, and drive home a point, or subtle?

- Should we set a required age minimum to post whether or not someone has it? This is a friendly board, but most of the models are more on the sexy side, and I don't think a 15 year old (in MY opinion) should seek out an adult's approval online!


It's hard to tell the truth without someone getting offended, or at worst, having everyone jump on the bandwagon to attack or destroy the person and at times, their sense of self.

I would like to come up with basic etiquette for this part, because I'm seeing too much dumping on the girls we feel "don't have it".

Great question Lauryn. Telling someone they can not do something is always hard especially without a context of the difficulty of being one of the few. Think of all the young kids putting long hours on the courts, on the diamond, on the gridiron, on the rink, playing guitar, singing, dancing, and so on, for the love of what they are doing and the small dream on maybe making it one day.

Anyone with the courage to put their pictures out for comment, good or ill, deserve courtesy and support even if the chances are remote ... because strange thing can happen as well.

An etiquette that allows a person to keep, or find, a balance for themselves would be great.

I think you just tell the chic the truth whether she likes it or not. In the long run

you will be helping her and not letting the fantasy continue. Encourage her to get

a job or finish school not become an internet stripper.

I agree! You should redirect her to going to college or following some other dream she may have instead of tearing her down. Emphasize that there are other things out there for her besides modeling.

Thank you all for your input, especially you Candy and India. That's how I feel, however, I know one man's trash is another's treasure. Sometimes your opinion is not the majority and maybe you're seeing something others do not. It's also bothersome how all these young girls come to this site- or others... brandishing themselves for the sake of someone preying on their self esteem.
