XM/Sirius Merger

If you guys used to be a big fan of XM 66 Raw and 65 The Rhyme. You can sign the petition to bring these channels back

66 RAW and 65 the Rhyme Reinstatement Petition

In the beginning Sirius promised subscribers that they would have the choice of dual programming allowing subscribers to keep their programming and select their channels as a benefit of the merger. So basically the same channels would be available for both but now Sirius replaced the XM line up with Sirius in the urban line up.

If you are Sirius advocate don't mind this but if you are a XM subscriber sign the petition.

Re: XM/Sirius Merger

Well Im not sure about those stations but Sirius got rid of Backspin, which was the old school hip hop station. They also adopted a reggae station called the Joint from XM which is not as good as reggae rhythms, so if your petition could in anyway help bring those back then im in!!

Re: XM/Sirius Merger

Well put it this way Sirius is in charge of the programming now, and a lot of people are pissed off period. The Rhyme was the exact same thing as Back Spin, I don't know why Sirius did away with the old school. Shade 45 mainly plays 50 cent, eminem, mobb deep, tony yayo, Lloyd Banks and all the artists that are not in favor of Shady Records, G Unit, etc. do not get airplay period no matter how good the record maybe

Re: XM/Sirius Merger

Yeah if they dont like the people like the Game, Young Buck etc then you will never hear them on Shade 45. They have a lot more talking, but some of their shows are funny as hell. Trust me, check out something like the Gomez brothers on Saturday evenings. I thought the merger was going to combine all the stations from both companies which would have been great but as we can see now, thats not going to happen!!
