Mayweather VS de la hoya
Dsatt Dsatt is offline 05-05-2007 Rating:

My money is on mayweather due to his speed and youth, he is a very tactical and smart boxer, oscar is smart and tactical as well but focuses on power and fundamentals more.l if this fight were to happen when oscar was in his twenties i might have put it on oscar...

WHO YOU GOT ON THE FIGHT ??

I'm rooting for De La Hoya. Like you said, Mayweather is definitely fast, but Oscar is seasoned and really knows the ins and outs. Nevertheless, even if Mayweather wins, he's gonna know what it's like to get hit real good and hard from De La Hoya.

After what Shane Mosley did to Oscar(and mayweather is much faster than mosley), I doubt he beats floyd mayweather. I do want him to win though. But in order to do that he'd have to trick mayweather in fighting him straight up. Won't happen imo.

mayweather is 30 and oscar is 34

i'm going with mayweather because few people understand that floyd will continue punching if you try to defend and don't punch back. oscar will have to realize that he is going to get punched regardless and that he wil have to take close to 4 to give 1 and if he leads he will be countered but if he can withstand the barrages and still swing for the fences he has a chance. he cannot win trying to outbox mayweather he's to crafty and adjusts very well. delahoya will have to pressure him from round 1 to 12

Re: Mayweather VS de la hoya

I'm putting my It Factor dollars on Mayweather, but it won't be as easy as everyone thinks. Oscar is the much bigger fighter and carries a big left hook. Floyd needs to stand clear of that left hook and realize the power that Oscar has. Floyd's counter punching will be the key as he offsets oscar's Jabs.

I got $500 It Factor dollars (Redeemable with a IF Factor Model) on Pretty Boy, anyone want a piece..... lol

It's going to be a Cinco De Mayo upset for De La Hoya. Mayweather will wear him out.

You sure about that Ram? Mayweather isn't known for going the distance; if anything Oscar would wear Floyd out. I just want this to go 12 rounds and let the better fighter win, and with this much money on the line it's either gonna go down real fast, or go the whole 12.

Re: Mayweather VS de la hoya

I'm hoping Oscar wins ...I went to high school with Floyds uncle Jeff in Grand Rapids ... they are a bunch of a$$wipes . As you've noticed they act like a$$wipes just to be an a$$wipe .

Floyd will win , but I'm hoping for the upset .
