If anyone is looking for a good read pick up the new National Geographic . I got it today and the cover read is about that . Some of the historical facts are pretty neat .
On a side note We have in town a huge museum like garden center ( Frederick Meijer Gardens ) that has some great stuff , the next couple months is a Art of Africa exhibit ... it should be good . I'll fill you in .

Those weren't considered Pharaoh's... they conquered the area and imposed their will on the civilization. Those are the descendants of Alexander the great and the Macedonians... Which brought about what the indigenous Egyptians called "Hyksos" or "burnt faces" because they were pale and their skin would "burn" in the sun. The same with the Phoenician Hittites who conquered a portion of Egypt long before the Greeks came there. Being an outsider doesn't make you Pharaoh... it makes you an outsider who came and conquered and declared yourself a Pharaoh...
