Wow, at this thread, good Lord Ms. Speak tryna give me ANOTHER TEST...

But I guess I'll answer number 1...
About racial profiling and such I'm gonna go with what Dmoney said, teach my children how to respect others no matter what their race is. I also noticed that racism is starting to become more and more evident to me, I mean, I knew it was there, but didn't know it would come out this hard, especially post-Katrina events.
Police brutatlity has been going on for a while now, and it needs to be stopped, after you seen what the policemen did to the "drunk black man" in LA you'd be directly pissed.((Also remember "Do The Right Thing" another example)) I say that suspension was'nt enough for those cops ((or any)) who have done that, the justice system is corrupt man....FIGHT THE POWER..lol.

1st question
Well, first we need to instill in our future children that they don't need drugs. Regardless of the media or peer pressure has to say. Let them know the real consequences of the drugs. and I agree with Dmoney1 on strengthing the black family. Which is the backbone of our society.

3rd
The elderly---{then}, what would do to make sure they have medical, shelter, and proper care? Well, we are gonna have to pay more taxes, or cut back on other budgets to make more money for medical, shelter and proper care. (There should be a gov run childcare for single mothers. )

4th.....
Education---In Detroit alone, 40 something schools were closed this year...our educational system has allways been in a rumble for over 30 years...what would do to better the situation for inner city children?
Well, Coming from a Detroit public school, I have to say either give teacher the right to whip children or force the parent to more involve with the child's learning. Give incentive to Teacher to because they deserve it. They are reponsible for molding the minds of the future. ( I was always in class with the baddest kids but, I think they would have been angels if the mom was sittin next to them.) Also, Show the kids they we care about their future and we want them to sucessed. We need to challenge them show them that they can make in this world. We should do this by exposing them to different things like art, aviation, business, archeology. Give them rolemodels which they can aspire to.

5th
Medical---How would you fix the medicade situation? The government has practicully deminish medicade....we have ppl walking around w/ cronic illnesses, physical and mental..... by the time you are 40-45....the common cold may be leathal as AIDS..... See third question. We need to look at our health care system ang change it.

6th
Employment-- Twenty-five years from now, there may not be jobs for the common folk....keep in mind....we have always had three classes of ppl in America {so, they say }....rich, middle-class, and poor....at the rate things are going....there may only be two.....rich and poor....jobs are slowly dissapearing for the middle-class.....factory, secretarial, basic jobs that requier basic skills, not necessarily a college education, may be gone completely and, lets be real, an Associates degree is practically a joke now-a-days......How would you generate more jobs? raise minimum wage, invest in higher education and create new industry to raise the job market. I personally think the middle class is disappearing because of the high gas prices. That literally affected almost every industry.

7th
Homeless---How would you handle another dissater like the Katrina hurricane, dealing w/ displaced adults, children? What the homeless in general in our country? The budget for nautral disasters should be increased. The gov could have handle that better. But there is always gonna be some unemployment in our country but We can make it as low as possible.
