Random Thoughts

Ever post in a thread or see a thread and not post yet, then go back or at least try to go back and read responses or finally respond yourself and you can't find it for the life of you? You spend half the dang day like "where is it"? I know it was here.
didn't ram post something about the "it" factor and it turns into a video of Sara introducing "It"?

next:
the sig that ram made w/the "fakers" pics is very nice
...................................BUT............ .................
does it make the models/women whose pics were used look bad?
does it look like those are the women who are "faking"?
(these are just questions, not accusing anyone of anything)
if any of those women come to this board and see their pic up there would they be like "wtf?"

I dunno........................that's all for now ...tata

Re: Random Thoughts

I've had a very interesting week.
Where do I begin ..

For starts i've been accused of threatening a woman at work because she thought it would be a good idea to wish ill will on me and say things about my character that aren't true. I then told her we could take this outside and got slapped with a threat.

Secondly, someone got a hold of my credit card information and ran through my account 12 times and ran up a huge ass bill. Fraud ...

I'm just waiting for what's next ...

All wrong homey but passionately put.

Your registration is broken because of mixmatched versions of registration files, file system restrictions from your host, and becuase of template's issues. The "look" (template) you now use is a rework of the old one that had lots of css and HTML errors. So problems were ported. I can tell this by viewing the source. There are certain attributes there that were from older versions of vbulletin (your forum software). If you built your new look on the default template for the correct version of the software you are using...things would be much better.

Come on Ram. You also know that anoyone registering has to be confirmed twice by you before they can be active on the site. That was never a functionality of the forum software but its a bug you have. The oldest registration files were never overwritten becuaxse of improper permissions.

Admins here (RAM) bypass those issues when they confirm new members and change their attributes in the database. For them this is done through the control panel. The problem is they don't notice these potential new members until after they have tried to register twice! I think users would find that annoying.

It's not that people aren't interested. Mute people don't find it fun to talk.

Itfactor is failing from a lack of attention and caring. Politics aside it could be fixed in ten minutes. Sorry to debunk your theory.

I haven't even touched on the software bought and installed improperly on the new box. You site map worked when I installed it. But it doesn't now after the move.

Re: Random Thoughts

BTW, for both Ram and Marqi... Mostly Ram becuase of your last comment.

How smart I think I am doesn't make a difference here. I gave you the solution for free actually. Not just today but many times before. Maybe itafctor wanted to take different directions or maybe it didn't do it out of contempt for me.

Leave comments like "your thing may not be everyone's thing" outta this. That's deflection.

The evidence on your boxes tells me that the site has been having problems since the end of 2006. I bet the memory of members here can back that up.

So since i wasn't on the scene that just means that Itfactors leadership is busy with other stuff or technically impotent. Its one or the other. Face it.

Either way, none of what you said makes a difference. If registration isn't fixed the site will go away as the members here grow up and move on.

Technically speaking your sailing the titanic without a life boat and saying its unsinkable. And your leaving port with a big hole in the hull.

What you mean contempt?? Everybody here loves you man! You like the angry alcoholic uncle at the family reunion that everybody gives the extra burnt crispy piece of chicken to from off the grill!!

Re: Random Thoughts

I'm arrogant and i profess it. whatcha gonna do? lol

Seriously, none of this matters to me. It was just advice and its quite possible i have no clue what i'm saying. My site runs on the same software with less communication, less interesting topics, no bugs, and and has more growth. What's your secret?

I come here to say whatever I want whenever I want. And when this place disappears i'll find another community to harass for my pleasure

As if i'm the only one complaining about this. lol, I didn't even bring the subject up and the phony admins want to direct sarcasm for their weaknesses towards me. As if we don't hear about this topic in random thoughts or some other post from time to time.

And...As if its brought up by members that don't give a damn about this place. lol. puhlease...

If the admins don't want to believe me they could try using common sense if that's available. Just about every post made is from a member that signed up 2006 and before. Yet they have steady traffic. That should tell folks that people are reading the communications here and not able to participate.

There is nothing phony about me. I knew you would go on a rant about my post because that's what you do.

Re: Random Thoughts

publicly discussing business related matters is unprofessional... doing so on a regular basis is just being an ass no matter how helpful or smart you think you are...
