Re: MySpace vs Facebook

Myspace is more of a promotional network and facebook is more for actually staying in touch with people.

I manage several myspace page for major artists and athletes, but on myspace, people tend to comment on pages that get a lot of views in hopes that others will click on their pages. At this point as far as a business tool I am still torn because, what I have found is that people don't support their friends as much off myspace than they do on myspace. Plus there is a lot of jibberish with people posting all of their promos and advertisment

Very true but that is simply because there is so much crap and code over code. The myspace coding is not the best either, then you have people modify their own with these different hacks and basically killing your PC process power and server load. Matter of fact the Myspace CSS coding is horrible

Re: MySpace vs Facebook

^^^ actually the CSS for Myspace is pretty good nowadays.

But people are fed up with the spam. Facebook has virtually none.

the problem is they overload it with content.
the videos, hq pics and flash pieces slow down the processor.
you can do a very nice myspace page without going overboard and it will load fine and look awesome if done correct

You have to learn it. Rest of the world thinks facebook is easy. There's a learning curve but its quick.

And only real people are on facebook
