u saw it in the video because he posted the video after witting it and after I confronted him.

I explained to him the context...But hey...I mess around on a lot of things except race. Many of my family members were lynched less then 60 years ago.

Some things shouldn't be condoned for any reason. Some things transcend a little board fun. Even I've got my limits.

The kid needs to understand the context in which he can address other cultures he isn't a part of.

Maaarf, I DO see McKoy's point. I see your point as well. Race IS a human construct. We're all part of the SAME race: Human. But like I said, I see McKoy's point as well.

The point McKoy is making is that in THIS country, racial jokes told by anyone OTHER than a Minority (i.e. whites) is just NOT done. And if it IS, it's obviously not told in a jolly matter. usually when a racial joke is told, it's telling of the person's mindstate on these things. not saying YOU are racist, b/c I known you a long time and I know you aren't. However you have to have some sensitivity to things like this. capisce?

It's called a reality check. Ever had a family member drug behind a pickup truck just cause they helped a white lady across the street? Or maybe you had some greedy cats wanting your land rape a few aunts until your uncles signed over the deed to their lands. Why don't you look at the images until you learn something.

The really sick part is a lot of people don't think what they are do or say is filled with prejudice. You just branded yourself as one of those people.

Take it farther Maarf. Join a latino board and make jokes about dirty Mexicans. Or maybe get the hell over to stormwatch.org. You'll find more friends there.
