When the West Coast/East Coast beef manifest its self at The Source Awards, two fractions on the East Coast were warring as well. Although, mere words ignited the beef, violence almost played a part in fatally ending it between the Wu-Tang Clan and Biggie Small’s Brooklyn goons.
Raekwon opens up to reveal that he constructed a fake cast to wear to The Source Awards to avoid detection from a gun that would be secretly hidden in his surgically wrapped hand.
After contemplating his intended actions, the Chef had a change of
heart and attend the award show unarmed. Years later the iconic rapper & Wu-Tang front man squashed the beef before Biggie was actually gunned down on the West Coast.
