Giant Magazine has joined the growing list of magazines which will no longer be on the stand come 2010. As a journalist, who has written for just about every entertainment driven publication, it saddens me every time I hear about the financial turmoil magazine suffer. The end result is the magazine folds due to low newsstand sells and lack of advertisement dollars. Advertisement is the bloodline of the publishing industry and these days companies are strapped for cash. Hopefully, some investor will come to the rescue to save the magazine just like they did for Vibe Magazine.
