Re: Urbancurves mag came by to

^^^you will have to excuse my MAAARFIE...
hes a perfectionist by nature and rather unhappy to be back in confinement... but his points are valid...

in all honesty it is the COVER of a mag that we notice first...
and the more appealing the cover the better the chances of it bein bought...
yes you have eye candy on the cover.....
but what is the difference between the eye candy on your mag compared to the others that are out there???

the cover of a mag is the same as the openin paragraph of a book... or a introduction to a presentation... if it doesnt stand out then usually it wont be interesting in the consumers eye...

ohh

welcome by the way...

Re: Urbancurves mag came by to

I don't always agree with Maaarf, but a friendly word WOULD be that more work could be put into that cover.

And the picture IS too tiny ... she needs to be more up-close and personal.

But, opinions can vary ...

I hope you are successful, and I just MIGHT buy it if it piques my interest Good luck!

You have to excuse my buddy Maaarf for the lack of introduction. He is amazing with graphic design and photoshop so that is why he was quick to comment on the magazine cover. I'm sorry, but I do have to agree with his observations. The color of the cover catches your attention but everything else (design wise) looks a little plain and "every day". It could use some interesting fonts and something to make it more artistic. I know some people that could help you out if you'd like. Good luck!
