Third degree turn in a sistas realm…
Speak2free Speak2free is offline 05-31-2005 Rating:

It is often said of men having strong egos,
Yet sistas, have their gripes and unfermented foes

It is often spoken of how women stick together lovin’ one another,
Yet sistas, always find that one taste of spite to hold, separating them from among one another

It is often spoken that a woman’s love endures all,
Yet among sistas, we often take rejoice in another’s fall

It is often said that one woman’s positive, can lifts another spirit,
Yet among sistas, we wear negative as defeat, becoming each others culprit

It is often said that women who share build each other up,
Yet among sistas, we roll eyes and swallow pride in gulps

It is often said that women who share truths keep each other strong,
Yet among sistas, bitter hearts, harbor hatred makes our lovin’ one another far gone

It is often said that women share a common trust with one another; standing up for one another,
Yet among sistas, easy turned backs and idle gossip is what we perfectly mutter

It is often said that with women, God made us the forgiver and kindness can cure our hatred,
Yet among sistas, kindness make one weak, and love is delayed

It is often said with women ‘this is between us and I am your confident’,
Yet among sistas, secrets unfold and those who share hold resent

It is often said that these words only lye among one culture of women,
Yet sistas all over the world share these truths, needing to embrace one another in a true Thrid degree sista realm…

Black people have become somewhat racist within themselves to a certain degree; it pisses me off to hear from a black person "she's pretty to be a dark skinned girl". As if dark skinned girls aren't pretty. BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL IN EVERY WAY!!!!!! - tatiana23
