Burdens
Have I come to a point, realizing
THat I have no time to live?
Have I learned nothing in the day
To give me peace at night?
Have I only burdens on my shoulders
That I carry throughout my days?
Have I loved with a love everlasting
Or is that hate in my heart?
Have I so many damned regrets
That I cannot see tomorrow?
Have I seen outside myself
To see who I am?
Have I touched others around me
Or have I pushed them away?
Have I slept a peaceful sleep
Or have I, in vain, lay awake?
Do I change my life around
To make things better?
Or do I keep things as is
Where I question if this is my life?

Black people have become somewhat racist within themselves to a certain degree; it pisses me off to hear from a black person "she's pretty to be a dark skinned girl". As if dark skinned girls aren't pretty. BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL IN EVERY WAY!!!!!! - tatiana23
