My heart is a log...
Waiting for the axe to drop...
Split in half by love!

Over and over
Chop! Chop! Torn in two pieces
Will it ever stop

On the ground they sit
The right and left side...aching
Quivering from pain

Inside the fire
My shattered heart fuels the flames
That warms her cold soul

But from the ashes
My heart emerges whole...healed
But yet have I learned?

No, I won't give up
My true love is coming to me
Patience is my path.

when i saw the title of the poem, i didn't think i wsas going to like it (fire wood : Love)... but that was nice as hell... good stuff
