I wanted to extend a Happy Father's Day to the daddies out there that take their parenthood seriously and keeps it as a top priority day in and day out.
You are in the making of creating a child/children that will have confidence that growing up in a cold world doesn't mean that they have to do it alone and without their father.
I grew up with my father but its one thing to be around your dad verses actually having a relationship with him. So for all the daddies out there that may not have made time today, even if you haven't gotten a phone call from your children call THEM. Let them know that today has not gone unnoticed and that you are PROUD to be a father and that your life was never the same when they entered and everyday you will work to be a better dad.
And for the father's that cherish their young ones, continue to do so because God's gift to everyone of us is a chance to experience unconditional love in which a child carries. To have someone always love you no matter your past or present or even when you may have an attitude or feeling stressed, to always have that one person/people that look in you for guidance and are always ready to love you is a gift that no one can take away from you but YOURSELF.
Remember: You have their life in your hands, and alot of us knows how it feels to not have a father around so when it comes down to you making that decision in life whether you will take that role or not REMEMBER that you have someone's life in the palm of your hands. You are making the decision to give them a better life, or have them wondering why they weren't good enough to be in yours.
Never leave a child unturned. There is NO such thing as a child being a mistake, it is God's way of telling you that it is time to grow up and love yourself and see that you can be loved despite how messed up any situation can be.

It seems that in this day and age, father's are devalued or undervalued as to have little to no significance. I am proud of my son every day. And I am always happy to see him. He's with me right now as I type this, spending the day with me... or to put it more accurately, I'm spending the day with him.
Black people have become somewhat racist within themselves to a certain degree; it pisses me off to hear from a black person "she's pretty to be a dark skinned girl". As if dark skinned girls aren't pretty. BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL IN EVERY WAY!!!!!! - tatiana23

Father's Day is very special to me, because I have no excuse
I know what a good man should be like, my father is one and my grandfather was one.
Now I am a divorced single parent raising two babies, 20 months and 4 years and I wouldn't have it any other way, right now.
